When operatives are working at height in a situation where it’s possible a fall could occur we should always try to mitigate the circumstances. Meaning take steps to lessen the force and consequences of a fall. Our systems do this in a number of ways.
In most cases we use inertia reels placed well above the operatives head to reduce the distance and therefore the force generated in a fall.
Most systems include a shock absorber or some other way to lessen the force placed on an operative during a fall.
Where required we incorporate INBUILT RESCUE into our systems allowing quick and easy rescue of a fallen operative. This can help lessen the chances of further injury being caused by suspension.
OVERHEAD WIRE SYSTEMS
We have various overhead wire systems offering safe access, egress and rescue. They can be used in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Fixed Overhead Wire System
These can be used indoor or outdoor and are easily adapted to all kinds of working environments. They offer safe access egress and where required INBUILT RESCUE is included.
Mobile Overhead wire system
This system is designed for outdoor use, it offers safe access, egress and rescue. It is moveable by fork lift truck and is suited to various types of working environments.
A-Frame System
This is designed mainly for outdoor use due to the systems size but if the work area is big enough there would be no reason it can’t be used inside as well. It is a portable system used quite a lot in open areas where setting up a Fixed System is not possible. It is moved into position by a fork lift truck and allows 2 operatives to work safely as well as safe access, egress and includes an INBUILT RESCUE mechanism.
Hangman System
Designed mainly for outdoor use this structure with system attached is bolted into a concrete base and allows safe work on top of objects which can be placed under the system. It allows safe access, egress and an INBUILT RESCUE mechanism.
FIXED LADDER SYSTEMS
Fixed ladders of various heights can be found all over the world. They give much needed access to a variety of platforms and structures. For the operatives ascending and descending these ladders a system should be in place to safe guard their movement.
Our system allows an operative to connect at ground level and move freely. It allows the operative to move clear of the top of the ladder while still being collected. The system can be used for both indoor and outdoor. If a fall occurs the system will catch the operative allowing only a very short fall distance. It has an INBUILT RESCUE mechanism included.
MOUNT SAFE SYSTEM
Mainly used within the portable cabin industry our Mount Safe System connects to a cabin, container or other structure using various specially designed bracketry. It is raised telescopically above the structure, giving plenty of height clearance.
The operative gaining access to the structure connects to ours system at ground level and is able to work safely on top. Their access and egress is covered and an INBUILT RESCUE mechanism is included.
SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM
This system has 2 upright sections clamped onto a scaffolding structure at 2 opposite ends with 2 overhead wires running between the uprights. It allows 2 operatives safe access and egress as well as the ability to work safely. The system can climb up the outside of the structure as it is built so operatives can be connected at all times and includes an INBUILT RESCUE mechanism.
ROOFTOP SYSTEM
This system has been designed initially for the roof tops of modular buildings. It can be as either a restraint or fall arrest system and makes installation or maintenance much easier for the operative.
